Research Interests:

Typical and atypical language development; children with specific language impairment; cognitive processes in communication disorders, with emphasis on processing speed, memory, attention, and perceptual processing in children and adults with language disorders; relationships between language and social cognition in young children.

Research Opportunities:

Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to work in my laboratory as volunteers or in independent study. Assistance is often needed in the summer. Students may be involved in collection, coding, or analysis of data from current research projects.
