The application deadlines are as follows:
- Application deadline for travel in Spring 2019: October 8, 2018
- Application deadline for travel in Summer 2019: January 14, 2019
Important: Graduate students interested in applying for a PIRE fellowship are encouraged to meet with their faculty mentors well in advance to discuss research opportunities and the content and timing of their applications. Faculty members should then contact the PIRE PIs, no later than three weeks before the application deadline, to funnel the number of students who intend to visit a given international site (as PIRE sites have constraints in terms of research facilities and how many students they can host in a given semester).
