Congratulations to Lindsey Chandler, Robert Klosinski, Cole Callen, and Sonya Trawick!

Four CLS graduate students received awards at the 37th Annual Graduate Exhibition:

Lindsey Chandler, a PhD Candidate in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, was awarded first place in the Arts and Humanities category for her presentation entitled "Novel Verb Reading in First- and Second-Language Spanish."

Robert Klosinski, a PhD Candidate in the Department of German and Slavic Languages and Literatures, was awarded second place in the Arts and Humanities category for his presentation entitled "Stop contrasts in Misiones, Argentina and Ohio, USA."

Cole Callen, a PhD Candidate in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, was awarded second place in the Social and Behavioral Sciences category for his presentation entitled "Grammatical variation in children's acquisition of Brazilian Portuguese."

Sonya Trawick, a PhD Candidate in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, was awarded third place in the Social and Behavioral Sciences category for her presentation entitled "Revisiting the Concept of "Triggering" Code-Switching."
