Research Interests
Gloria Soto’s area of professional interest is language acquisition through augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for individuals with communication disabilities. Her research examines how children who use AAC acquire and use language, with particular attention to the experiences of bilingual and culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
