Biography:
Rachel is a Ph.D. student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders department with her adviser being Krista Wilkinson. She is working on the Speech, Language, and Swallowing in Individuals with Down Syndrome (SLS) Study, specifically the language and swallowing aims. Rachel is interested in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) design for complex communicators, as well as increasing access to research for clinicians and caregivers.
