Biography:

Research Interests

Spanish-English bilingualism, individual differences among learners, learners’ attitudes, metalinguistic awareness, crosslinguistic influence, and psychotypology

Angélica is a graduate student of the Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese in Penn State. She has experience teaching English in Puerto Rico, which introduced her in the classroom environment and allowed her to observe the diversity of learners’ attitudes and behavior. This is also enriched by her experience as a foreign language student, which allows her to create learning strategies. During her bachelor of arts degree, she studied French and German. Currently, she is learning Mandarin Chinese.
